August 24,1979

Our son was born on Friday, August 24, 1979 at 2:29 p.m. in Columbus, Ohio at Grant Hospital.He was a beautiful bald-headed bouncing baby boy. His Aunt Linda nick named him "Bubba" and the name stuck throughout his short lived life.

2001

Budd was murdered on Wednesday,September 26, 2001 at the age of 22. He was shot in the back & then behind his ear in the lower part of his head by cowards as they obviously knew he would have fought them man to man. Then he was robbed of his safe
& car keys. They planted drugs in his pockets so it would be a drug deal gone bad. Budd was not perfect but he didn't do drugs. There were at least two different shooters. His killers have never been caught to this date of entry. The Columbus Ohio Detectives are totally worthless- Budd's case is in the cold case files and it all seems hopeless. I only hope that I live long enough to see them pay for taking my boy's life. That they took a little boy's daddy from him and an only brother to my daughters. Budd didn't die alone for God saw what happened. I know he didn't suffer but the suffering they put upon this family is forever. We will never forget.

The family chain was broken when God called out his name.This date is forever etched into our hearts and our "light" is gone.
